John, when I heard this recent news, I couldn’t believe it.

Democrats in Washington, D.C. plan to dictate how COVID-19 relief is administered across the country in their $1.9 trillion bill. And guess what? It looks like they plan to only help blue states, and now, the Dems are coming after states like ours. Saying in the same bill, states cannot institute new state tax cuts.

While my administration is working hard to keep taxes low and to lower taxes for hard working Oklahomans like you, John, the Democrats clearly have another plan in mind.

Democrats like AOC, Chuck Schumer, and Nancy Pelosi think they can control how we allocate our money here in Oklahoma — and they don’t have our best interest in mind.

Democrats are limiting how states can use funding, which will negatively impact our small businesses, top job creators, and our ability to provide our communities relief. But, worst of all is the fact that the bill prevents states like ours from cutting taxes.

John, I know that Oklahomans need targeted relief, and I am working each and every day to provide that for our state. But D.C. Democrats are attacking Oklahoma and think they know what is best for us. These Democrats are funding blue states while hurting red states like ours… and I won’t stand for it.

John, will you join me in taking a stand against the Democrats that are trying to hurt Oklahoma and our path to relief?
