CLASP Praises Biden-Harris Administration Choice to Stop Defending Public Charge Regulations

Incredibly big news for immigrant and migrant families – on Tuesday the U.S. Supreme Court dismissed a case regarding the Trump Administration’s public charge regulations. The Department of Homeland Security has confirmed that once the previously entered judicial invalidation of the Trump-era rule becomes final, the public charge policy will revert to earlier long-standing policies. CLASP, along with other organizations, has been fighting against this damaging proposal for years and succeeded! Our perspective on this historic news has been reported on by CBS News.
