Over the weekend, Senate Democrats passed the American Rescue Plan to deliver
much-needed relief to millions of Americans. Yesterday, the bill passed the House,
and President Biden signed it this afternoon.

I am thrilled that we were able to tackle such an important issue. When I asked
you for your top priority in my 2021 Priorities Poll, 24% of survey respondents
included COVID-19 relief.

But despite knowing that the American people need help, not a single Republican
voted for this bill. This vote shows just how important our Senate majority is to
passing critical legislation. We need to do everything we can to hold onto and
expand our majority so we can continue to focus on your other top priorities like
climate change and health care.
