The Texas Legislative session runs for 140 short days every other year. The 2021 legislative session started almost 60 days ago - we are almost at the halfway point for critical, life-saving legislation to become law.

Time is running short.

And to make matters worse, Donna Howard, a leftist state representative, is playing games with Pro-Life Priorities.

The Alternatives to Abortion (A2A) fund is a portion of our state budget that provides Pro-Life alternatives to abortion. The A2A provides pregnancy centers, maternity homes, and adoption agencies funds they need to save lives.
Donna Howard is a member of the powerful House Appropriations Committee. This committee is responsible for creating the proposed House budget; they’re responsible for determining how much money life-saving programs can receive!

In the past, Howard has voted to approve state funding for all kinds of wishes and projects. Howard doesn’t care about saving tax-payer dollars, she cares about expanding abortion. She knows the A2A provides life-affirming options for women and families, options besides abortion. That’s what she hates.

Through speeches full of rhetoric and questions meant to mislead, Howard is attempting to paint the A2A fund as wasteful. She thinks the lives saved in Texas through the A2A are meaningless. She believes abortion mills like Planned Parenthood deserve your tax dollars!
