The GOP's relentless attacks against voters -- especially voters of color -- are why Democrats in Congress introduced the John R. Lewis Voting Rights Act to restore the Voting Rights Act of 1965. Both this bill and the For the People Act show that, unlike Republicans, the Democratic Party is truly dedicated to democracy.
With the leadership of women like Stacey Abrams, we were able to prevail over the GOP's voter suppression tactics in Georgia and across the country.
