When Virginia Democrats won control of the House of Delegates, the Virginia Senate, and the governor’s office for the first time in over 20 years, it was a Commonwealth-wide effort. Democrats won their majority in large part thanks to people like Delegate Rodney Willett from Henrico, who won by just 1,293 votes in 2019!

Rodney has been crucial to advancing our shared progressive agenda in Richmond. He helped pass legislative priorities like the Virginia Clean Economy Act, seven separate bills establishing stronger gun safety regulations, and more than $94 million in increased funding for early childhood education.
