Millions of Americans are still experiencing an unacceptable slowdown in mail delivery across the country.

The Washington Post is now reporting that instead of working to fix the problem, the conservative mega-donor that Trump put in charge of the Postal Service is trying to slow the mail down even further:

“DeJoy’s latest USPS restructuring plan could increase bureaucracy and slow delivery, experts warn”
— The Washington PostThe good news is that President Biden has nominated three new members to the Postal Service Board of Governors who can provide some much-needed oversight.

We need to confirm these appointees right away to rein in Postmaster General Louis DeJoy.

The United States Postal Service is one of our nation’s proudest institutions. Americans have been able to count on the USPS to deliver important correspondence, medication, bills, and packages on time through rain, sleet, and snow.

That reliability has become even more crucial during the COVID-19 pandemic, when so many are counting on the mail to deliver essential goods.

DeJoy has already proven that we can’t entrust our nation’s mail to a Trump megadonor. That’s why we need to confirm President Biden’s new appointees to the Postal Service Board of Governors as quickly as possible.

Thank you for raising your voice.
