[1]Women's March
John, at Women’s
March, we believe women.
We believe that every woman — and every person — has the right to live and
work free from harassment and abuse.
In the past weeks, six women have accused Governor Andrew Cuomo of sexual
harassment on the job. Conduct like this is despicable from anyone, in any
job — but coming from the highest office in New York, it’s disqualifying.
Andrew Cuomo has made it clear that he isn’t willing to do the right thing
and resign himself. [ [link removed] ]Will you add your name to our petition calling on
the State Assembly of New York to immediately impeach Andrew Cuomo from
the Governor’s office?

Governor Andrew Cuomo has irreparably broken New Yorkers’ trust.
These allegations are also on top of multiple recent allegations of
intimidation and verbal abuse against him by members of the state
legislature, and reports that his administration lied about deaths in
nursing home facilities.
We’re glad to hear that Attorney General Tish James vowed to appoint a
truly independent counsel to look into claims against the Governor. A
transparent, independent investigation will reveal whether he has also
broken the law — and we demand one to determine the scope and severity of
his misconduct. However, conduct doesn’t have to be illegal to be
disqualifying for the highest office in the state.
It’s clear that as long as Cuomo keeps his job, too many women won’t feel
safe and supported in theirs. But if Cuomo continues to refuse his
resignation, the New York State Assembly must step up and act swiftly to
impeach him.
[ [link removed] ]It’s going to take a grassroots wave of pressure to make sure the New
York State Assembly impeaches Andrew Cuomo. Add your name now and show
your support to remove Cuomo from office.
