Last week, Nancy Pelosi and her allies voted to strip away resources from our police.
This week, they're trying to strip away YOUR Constitutional Rights.
But they're not going to do it with my support! I stood up in front of Congress to DEMAND a stop to their radical crusade to make America less safe, less secure, and less free.
Defending my constituents' rights is something I will ALWAYS do in Congress.
I know firsthand how important our rights and our freedoms are. I served as a law enforcement officer for more than two decades, and I was the victim of a violent crime while on duty. It was only due to the grace of God that I survived.
And I'll tell you from firsthand experience, it wasn't the gun that caused the attack that day. It was the criminal. The liberals don't want to admit this, but a criminal who's willing to take someone's life doesn't care about abiding by a new law.
Their intrusive new gun grabs are going to affect YOU, the law-abiding citizens of this country, WITHOUT solving the actual problem of gun violence.
That's why we stand up, that's why we work so hard to defend our rights.
