Today, every Republican in the United States House of Representatives voted against giving our country the resources we desperately need to get to the other side of this pandemic.
No really, it's true.
Republicans picked partisan politics over getting vaccines in arms, money in pockets, children back in school safely, and people back in jobs when they unanimously voted to sink the Democratic-led American Rescue Plan.
With their vote against the American Rescue Plan today, Republicans voted against:
- Providing Americans $1,400 survival checks
- Funding more vaccines across our country to crush the virus
- Providing much-needed relief for struggling families and renters
- Expanding affordable, accessible health care
- and Helping small businesses and local governments in need
Democrats fought hard for you and your family. Republicans did not.
It is clear who prioritizes putting Texans first.
