Friend --
As we approach our second Passover during the pandemic, many of us are
craving a new kind of liberation. At a time that should be joyous and
filled with communal meals and conversations, we have to work harder than
ever to ensure that we stay connected and that our holidays feel truly
meaningful and restorative.
The J Street community is committed to remaining united around our shared
values. As part of our effort to stay connected, we are writing to invite
you to the J Street Virtual Seder on Sunday, March 21 at 4:00pm Eastern.

While this year's celebrations are once again markedly different from
those prior to COVID, and surely not what we had hoped for, they also
afford an opportunity to find new, special resonance in the themes and
lessons of the holiday. The Passover story highlights the importance of
solidarity and togetherness as we yearn for liberation and safety; it can
teach us gratitude, compassion for those less fortunate and the importance
of persistence in the face of uncertainty.
If you are unable to attend our seder, we hope you will still find ways to
utilize the J Street Haggadah -- [ [link removed] ]downloadable here -- at your seder
this year. Our Haggadah approaches all of the core components of the
Passover seder through the lens of J Streetβs work and the inspiring
advocacy of the broader Jewish social justice community, as well as the
unique environment in which we again celebrate Passover this year.

J Street is the political home for pro-Israel, pro-peace Americans who want
Israel to be secure, democratic and the national home of the Jewish people.
Working in American politics and the Jewish community, we advocate policies that
advance shared US and Israeli interests as well as Jewish and democratic values,
leading to a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
