Friends -- This is big:

The House has passed transformational voting rights and anti-corruption legislation!! H.R. 1, the For the People Act, would make our democracy fairer, stronger, and more inclusive.

Now it’s up to the Senate to act, and Republicans are lining up in staunch opposition. They know that their odds of winning elections are better when fewer people vote and dark money flows unchecked. We can’t let the GOP stand in the way of expanding voting rights and ending partisan gerrymandering. Will you sign on to demand the Senate pass this crucial legislation?

The For the People Act would:

✅ Expand automatic and same-day voter registration
✅ Make Election Day a federal holiday
✅ End partisan gerrymandering for congressional districts
✅ Strengthen ethics rules for public officials
✅ Limit dark money in politics

These reforms aren’t just the right thing to do to strengthen our democracy, they are widely supported. A recent poll shows that 67 percent of voters are in favor of H.R. 1, including more than half of Republicans.

Yet Senate Republicans are working to block the bill from becoming law. That can’t stand -- voting rights and government ethics need to be a priority. Tell the Senate: NOW is the time to pass H.R. 1!
