Hi there,
Biden's COVID relief bill, the American Rescue Plan, just passed Congress -- but there are still some who say that the $1.9 trillion package is “too much.”
But it defies belief that anyone could consider the plan, which provides $1,400 checks per person, $350 billion to keep state and local governments afloat, and expands ACA subsidies and tax benefits for low-income families, to be somehow “too much” -- especially considering the economic situation of millions of American families impacted by the pandemic.
You have to make sure that Republicans can't frame this plan as a mistake in Democratic excess and spending. You need to let our officials know that they did the right thing by voting for Americans to get the relief they need -- before the GOP wins the spin war and their harsh, uncompassionate rhetoric takes hold.
We need 65 engaged Democrats like you to make their voices heard by midnight so the American people hear the right message about this plan once and for all:
Is Biden's relief plan “too much”?
Thank you so much for making your voice heard today.
