Folks, President Biden just signed the American Rescue Act into law today, and help will be on the way. This relief package is a historic accomplishment -- but it’s missing one key element:

The New York Times
Minimum Wage Provisions Fails to Advance
“The Senate rejected a bid by Democrats to advance an increase the federal minimum wage”

Too many Americans struggle to afford food, rent, utilities, and other basic costs of living each month. Our current federal minimum wage of $7.25 means full-time workers only earn $15,080 a year.

Let’s be clear: in the wealthiest country in the world, anyone working full-time should earn enough money to live. That’s not the case right now.

Sign on to demand that Congress rise to the occasion and increase the minimum wage!

Raise the wage >> [link removed]

The minimum wage was last raised in 2009. It has fallen far behind inflation and the cost of living, and millions of hard-working Americans are suffering as a result.

The American people know this isn’t right. That’s why 67% of the country supports increasing the minimum wage to $15/hour.

Yet Republicans in Congress refuse to do the right thing for American workers. I’m proud to say that I’ve fought to raise the minimum wage my entire time in Congress, and I believe that if we can keep up the public pressure, we can accomplish this long-overdue raise soon.

Will you stand with me and support a $15 minimum wage?

Yes! >> [link removed]
