Here's a glimpse at what Suzan's bill would do to help families:

Give families up to $300 a month ($3,600 a year) per child for each child under the age of 6
Give families up to $250 a month ($3,000) per child for each child between the ages of 6 and 17
Make the child tax credit fully refundable, meaning that all low-income families would receive the full amount and ensure that the money is going directly into the hands of folks who need it most

Plus, in addition to the millions of children it would lift out of poverty across the country, it would cut Washington's childhood poverty rate by 40%.
