Dear Green American, Are you missing it? One Earth Film Festival is happening now! This year the festival is virtual so no matter where you are, you can attend. Green America has been a Festival Action Partner for the past five years, and this year we’re inviting all of our members and supporters to check out the festival’s free environmental and social justice films and engaging post-film discussions from March 5-14. This Saturday, March 13th, Green America will be featured on the discussion panel after the film Kiss the Ground from 11am-1:30pm CT (Noon-2:30 ET, 9-11:30am PT). Come hear Todd Larsen, our Executive Co-Director for Consumer & Corporate Engagement, and his co-panelists talk about why regenerative agriculture is a solution for climate change AND healthy food systems, and how everyone can get involved. If you haven’t seen Kiss the Ground yet, we can assure you that this film will leave you hopeful that humanity can solve our greatest challenge! This year’s One Earth Film Festival covers many topics – from environmental and social justice, to waste and recycling, to clean energy – and offers you a wonderful chance to learn about solutions to these issues from the comfort of your own living room. Most film showings are free (with a suggested $8 donation), and many include discussions with filmmakers and/or action partners like Green America, who identify ways for you to add your voice and take action on important environmental and social justice issues.
