John, We just had our finance team meeting where we went over our February fundraising numbers. Coming out of that meeting, I have good news and bad news. The good news is that we are outperforming our fundraising numbers compared to this point in the 2020 cycle! Team Underwood is really taking the “no off year” mentality to heart, and we appreciate all your support thus far. But the bad news is that we will need to keep raising the bar in order to be prepared for what’s ahead. Right now, we’re facing two major attacks from the GOP. The first issue we’re dealing with is that Jim Oberweis is continuing his shameful crusade to throw out the results of the 2020 election. Right now we’re awaiting Mr. Oberweis’s response to the initial meeting held last week in the House Administration Committee. And secondly, the NRCC has gotten involved earlier than ever before in our race. Lauren was named to the NRCC’s top target list -- and the GOP is already strategizing on how to defeat us next November. We’re not afraid of these challenges, we just know we’re going to have to step up like never before to keep spreading Lauren’s positive message. Thank you,
