For far too long, Black communities have been systematically locked out of opportunity based solely on race. It's imperative we recognize the layers of discrimination that plague our country, and work actively -- and intentionally -- to dismantle them.
The All On The Line team is working to end gerrymandering, in part, because it seizes political power away from Black communities and makes it harder to achieve true political equity. But our team understands helping organizations directly supporting communities is important and one way we can provide immediate relief now to those who need it.
That's why our team is honoring Black History Month by highlighting the work of organizations on the ground committed to achieving equity and fairness.
Will you consider making a donation right now to either or both of these organizations?
1. Trans Women of Color CollectiveWe must rebuild our democracy and institutions in a way that gives a fair and equal amount of political power and opportunity to Black communities. As our team works to achieve political equity for everyone, we want to acknowledge, honor, and respond now to the urgent needs of communities of color.
An organization working to uplift the narratives, leadership, and lived experiences of trans people of color. You can donate here.
2. Brave Space Alliance
A Black-led organization committed to creating and providing culturally competent services for the entire LGBTQ+ community in Chicago. You can donate here.
Brave Space Alliance and Trans Women of Color Collective are working to provide transformative community programs and provide resources to communities who need it most. We believe in their missions.
Thanks for stepping up,
The AOTL Team
