Hello, At the end of this email I’m going to ask you to make a contribution toward our February fundraising goal. But first, I want to take a moment to talk a little bit about the work I’ve been doing in the Senate and our path forward from here. This month we convened a historic trial to hold Donald Trump accountable for his role in inciting the attempted insurrection on the U.S. Capitol, weathered severe storms worsened by decades of poor governing and deregulation, and reached a devastating milestone: 500,000 Americans killed by COVID-19. We also vaccinated millions of people and significantly curbed hospitalizations, passed legislation to protect abortion access in New Mexico, and began the process of confirming President Biden’s Cabinet nominees, who will help get our nation back on track. We are doing what we need to do to end this pandemic for good and put our country on a path forward into a brighter future.
