Arizona Announces State-Run Vaccine Site In Metro Phoenix’s East Valley ([link removed])
At full capacity, this site will have a similar capacity to State Farm Stadium at 12K vaccines per day and can be operated 24/7. Due to the limited amount of vaccine allocated to the state, it site will initially operate from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Appointments for first and second doses will open for registration at 9 a.m. Monday, March 1.

"Arizona pressed on Monday with plans to increase vaccinations and vaccine access, including the opening of its fourth state-run mass vaccination clinic. Arizona Launches Initiative Easing Access To COVID-19 Vaccine Sites For Vulnerable Individuals ([link removed])
AHCCCS, Arizona’s state Medicaid agency, will now reimburse non-emergency medical transportation providers for driving eligible Medicaid members to and from their COVID-19 vaccination appointments, including reimbursement for time spent waiting during the drive-through vaccination process.

Arizona Republic: Medicaid In Arizona Will Pay For Members' Rides To And From COVID-19 Vaccine Appointments ([link removed])
"Arizona on Monday removed what had been a significant obstacle to getting the COVID-19 vaccine to people enrolled in Medicaid. Arizona's Medicaid program, which enrolls about 30% of the state's population, said Monday morning that it will cover members' transportation costs to and from COVID-19 vaccine appointments."

Implementing this bill would continue that trend."
