Arizona Announces State-Run Vaccine Site In Metro Phoenix’s East Valley ([link removed])
At full capacity, this site will have a similar capacity to State Farm Stadium at 12K vaccines per day and can be operated 24/7. Due to the limited amount of vaccine allocated to the state, it site will initially operate from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Appointments for first and second doses will open for registration at 9 a.m. Monday, March 1.

Arizona Launches Initiative Easing Access To COVID-19 Vaccine Sites For Vulnerable Individuals ([link removed])
AHCCCS, Arizona’s state Medicaid agency, will now reimburse non-emergency medical transportation providers for driving eligible Medicaid members to and from their COVID-19 vaccination appointments, including reimbursement for time spent waiting during the drive-through vaccination process.

"Arizona on Monday removed what had been a significant obstacle to getting the COVID-19 vaccine to people enrolled in Medicaid. Arizona's Medicaid program, which enrolls about 30% of the state's population, said Monday morning that it will cover members' transportation costs to and from COVID-19 vaccine appointments."

"Ducey’s administration has long championed regulatory flexibility that’s the first of its kind, from universal licensing recognition, which allowed people from all over to move to Arizona and work, to making Arizona the first state in America to have a FinTech sandbox program that allows businesses to launch products on a limited scale without certain regulatory burdens. Implementing this bill would continue that trend."
