John — Not a day passes by that we aren’t thinking about the terror that was felt in the Capitol on January 6th. Violent extremists stormed the grounds of the Capitol, and it’s clear that the rhetoric of Donald Trump and his cronies were responsible for the crime.

That’s why Hank and his colleagues are joining forces with the NAACP and taking on the Trump-insurrectionists in court.

The Enforcement Acts were passed in 1870 and 1871 in an effort to keep the Klu Klux Klan from terrorizing Black Americans exercising their constitutional rights. The extremists that stormed the Capitol on Jan. 6th had the same intention as the Klan members for which the Enforcement Acts were created — they were hellbent on stopping our constitutional process, and silencing the voices of the millions who voted for President Joe Biden.

We cannot just turn over a new page without first demanding justice and accountability. That’s exactly what Hank is fighting for, and he’ll need your help to stay in the fight while Trump allies try to tear him down.

Team Hank is building the infrastructure to challenge Trump and his cronies at every corner — from the courtroom to the House floor. Can you rush $10 or $20 toward our $2,500 end-of-month goal so Hank can keep holding Republicans accountable?
