MAGA Republicans like my opponent claim to be the party of "law and order."
In fact, Devin Nunes spent his entire summer railing against the activists standing behind Black Lives Matter, committing the "crime" of daring to demand racial justice in this country.
And yet, when Donald Trump's unhinged mob launched the deadliest attack on our Capitol since the War of 1812, Devin Nunes stayed silent -- until he started defending them when it became politically expedient.
Devin Nunes doesn't have principles. He's the definition of a slimy politician.
Devin Nunes clearly isn't big on practicing what he preaches and protecting our country. But he's not alone.
A new wave of far-right conspiracy theorists and Democracy deniers just got elected, and they're only there because spineless cowards like Devin Nunes paved their path to power.
To make matters worse, Republicans are derailing President Biden's bold agenda at every turn -- going so far as delaying $1,400 survival checks to spite us.
This is the Republican legacy: hypocrisy, hate-mobs, and policy paralysis in the middle of an unprecedented health and economic crisis.
This is what happens when we let them install bigoted leaders like Trump -- and let his loyal lackies like Nunes escape accountability.
