Hey! I really want to share something interesting with you.
New polling finds that most voters in Virginia haven’t made up their minds about who they’re voting for. Even though one of our opponents is Terry McAuliffe -- the former Governor of Virginia! -- people aren’t sure they want to vote for him.
“New Democratic faces and priorities have emerged since Terry McAuliffe was governor,” said Wason Center Academic Director Dr. Quentin Kidd. “He opens with a head start, but he’s a long way from closing the deal.”
Even better, when people hear about all the candidates, they like Jenn the most. They like that:
- She was a public defender.
-
She was a Delegate in the state house.
-
She was born and raised in Petersburg.
- She’s someone who will fight corruption in politics and the status quo because she actually understands the struggles people are facing. She’s lived it and she’s seen it first-hand.
Bottom line: Jenn can win. But only if she has the resources in the door to compete. We have a budget deadline about 72 hours from now. We are looking to secure 1,500 grassroot donations before then. Will you be one of them?

Our path forward is very clear. When people learn about both Terry McAuliffe and Jennifer Carroll Foy, they pick Jenn. Not many people know about Jenn, and it’s our campaign’s number one priority to make sure voters know who she is and who she fights for -- you.
We’re two months away from voting starting in Virginia. There’s no more time to sit on the sidelines -- and if you have been all in for awhile, this is the time to double down on your commitment. Donate now.
Jennifer Carroll Foy was born and raised in Petersburg. In 2017, she flipped a Republican district as a first-time candidate pregnant with twins. During her time as Delegate, Jennifer championed the ratification of the Equal Rights Amendment, helped expand Medicaid to 400,000 Virginians, and advocated for the Commonwealth’s most vulnerable communities.
She has a career of public service and it started long before 2017. As a public defender, Jennifer helped give a voice to the often voiceless — children, people suffering from addiction, those experiencing homelessness, those with mental illness, and the poor.
Now she’s running to be the first woman elected Governor of Virginia and serve as the first Black woman to be governor nationwide.
Help her make history. Donate now.
