This isn’t just about winning or losing. It’s about whether or not we will be able to advance President Biden’s and Democrats’ agenda and build back our country better:

• The Pandemic: We need to support President Biden’s plan to significantly bolster vaccine distribution, and we need to deliver urgently needed aid to state and local governments on the frontline of the pandemic and secure further relief for American families.


• The Climate Crisis: Climate change threatens everything that keeps us connected: highways, bridges, railways, our power grid. We need to invest in building climate-resilient and sustainable infrastructure all while creating good-paying jobs for the American people.


• Justice and Equality: We must advance measures to combat systemic discrimination and inequality in our country, including measures for meaningful police reforms and banning discrimination against the LGBTQ community.


• Voting Rights: We need to protect voting rights and combat the attempts to suppress voters’ voices in our democracy -- especially the voices of voters of color. And we must pass D.C. statehood and give long overdue voting representation to the over 700,000 Americans who call our nation’s capital home.


• The Postal Service: Mail delays are causing Americans across the country to miss paychecks, prescriptions, bills, and more. I’m working with my colleagues in Congress to reverse the harmful USPS policy changes and restore timely deliveries.
