Here’s something you might not know about the Senate, folks —

Senators get to choose their office location based on seniority. And since I’m a newbie, I got stuck with the basement for the time being.

It’s not all bad. Sure, we don’t have any windows and the lights flicker every now and then, but working in such a sacred, historic building is an incredible and humbling experience.

Every time I step foot in the Capitol, I remember that it’s folks like you who put me there. Thanks to this incredible team, we won our race in Colorado, flipped the Senate majority, and now we’re making progress on so many important issues.

Now, our team is facing another uphill battle. In two days, our end-of-month fundraising deadline expires and we’re still $5,204 behind. As a freshman Senator, everyone will be watching us to see how strong we really are, so it’s incredibly important we reach our goal.
