CNBC is reporting that New York Attorney General Letitia James probe into Donald Trump's taxes is “among the largest legal threats Trump faces” now that he's a private citizen.
AG James is the first Black woman to ever hold her position and has been investigating Trump's tax fraud, where he inflated his taxes to gain benefits from insurance and mortgage companies “and then deflated the very same assets for the purposes of evading tax liability in New York State.”
Trump has been throwing the worst of his attacks against James, claiming that he is innocent and that she is pursuing a “witch hunt” against him.
In Trump's words, James' investigations are a form of “fascism, not justice -- and that is exactly what they are trying to do with respect to me, except that the people of our Country won't stand for it.”
