First, you asked Governor Evers to fund community-based violence intervention and interruption programs in his Wisconsin biennial budget proposal. 

Next, Governor Evers included many gun violence prevention efforts in his budget proposal, including funding for

• creating a violence interruption grant program
• requiring background checks to be conducted for firearm transfers
• devising an extreme risk protection injunction procedure

And now, we need to demonstrate to the members of Wisconsin's Joint Committee on Finance and your own legislators that Wisconsinites want these priorities to remain in the budget!
