We've got some scary news: Because of Democrats' narrow margins in the House and the Senate, GOP operatives believe they're in a strong position to flip both chambers of Congress in the midterm elections.

Trump's base still remains powerful. And especially after he was acquitted in his second impeachment trial, Republican strategists have no doubt he and his base can win again.

But they're also worried about depressed fundraising, dampened turnout, and bad general election candidates. Why? Because an internal feud has broken out between Trump and Mitch McConnell over what the future of the Republican party should look like.

We know that we can't stand for Trump's extremist lies OR McConnell's constant hypocrisy. Either option is bad for America -- and that's why we're making sure that engaged, progressive, Democratic voters are the true threat to the GOP.

We need to be prepared for whatever version of the GOP challenges us in 2022 -- whether that's Trump's radical white supremacist demagoguery or McConnell's determination to block progress for everyday Americans.
