In 2020, out of the 435 congressional districts nationwide, just 16 voted for both a Republican and a Democrat on the same ballot.
ME-02 is one of those districts.
But if the GOP had won just five more of those seats, they would have taken back the majority. And with a razor thin margin separating the winner from the loser, protecting our majority in Congress truly came down to every last vote.
We know it feels early to start campaigning, but Jared has already been named one of the GOP’s top targets. And we know that they’ll hold nothing back in their campaign to defeat him and flip ME-02 red.
Bottom line, a flood of dark money and misleading attack ads will be coming our way over the next few months, so we need to be prepared.
