Announcing a New Engage Event: A Conversation with Dana Perino
Former White House Press Secretary Dana Perino headlines a special edition of Engage at the Bush Center, presented by Highland Capital Management at 6 p.m. CT on March 11. In a livestream conversation moderated by former U.S. Secretary of Education Margaret Spellings , Dana will talk about her upcoming book, Everything Will Be Okay: Life Lessons for Young Women (from a Former Young Woman) , along with her thoughts on current events and reflections on her time at the White House.
Ticket holders for the online event will receive a signed copy of Dana’s new book, to be shipped after its March 9 release.

HUMAN FREEDOM | The U.S. Must Continue to Support Democracy Abroad
Jan. 6 put American democratic weaknesses on display, and some critics claimed that the U.S. should no longer advocate for democracy abroad. In response, the Bush Institute’s Kelly and David Pfeil Fellow, Nicole Bibbins Sedaca, wrote an op-ed for The Hill <[link removed]> urging the U.S. to continue to support democracy despite our imperfections.
