Hello Project ID community.

This is Assemblywoman Sydney Kamlager, reaching out to let you know about my campaign for State Senate, District 30. I know the district well, have lived here for 20 years, and served as District Director for Senator Holly J. Mitchell. That I deeply understand our community and our local issues, added to the fact that I’ve worked—fully engaged in heart and mind—in the state legislature, makes me uniquely qualified to hit the ground running to represent the constituents of the 30th District.

I’m committed to reinvestment in poor, vulnerable, and unhoused communities. I’m outspoken and unwavering in my fight for healthcare access, climate action, and justice reform. And I’m a Black woman determined to usher in equity in its entirety for women and our underrepresented Black and Brown communities. In fact, as we speak, California has exactly zero Black women in the Senate. That's a big lack of representation that voters can change right now by voting for me.

I stand in solidarity with Project ID, to help people access the basics everyone needs: jobs, health services, safe travel, and the right to vote. The more we help people get identification, the closer we get to true Democracy. I'm also calling on the Project ID community to help get out the vote!

The Special Election ends THIS TUESDAY, March 2. (Ballots were mailed to voters in early February.) Vote Centers ([link removed]) are now open, Drop Boxes ([link removed]) are at the ready, and folks can also mail their ballots at any post office or USPS mailbox.
