Yesterday, as state legislative bodies around the country were advancing an unprecedented number of voter suppression bills, Fair Fight Action founder Stacey Abrams testified in Congress on the importance of federal action to protect our democracy and ensure access to the ballot box regardless of zip code. Arguing for H.R. 1, she said, "Democracy works best when we install guardrails to ensure every American has an equal opportunity to make their voice heard and be fairly represented."
