There is so much uncertainty around the census, but it is possible that Michigan will be losing a House seat -- and we won't know the new congressional maps until late fall.

This means every House seat we have matters that much more, and we have to start preparing now for the 2022 elections. We already know Representatives Elissa Slotkin and Haley Stevens are top GOP targets.

We must make sure every Michigan Democrat on the frontlines starts off on solid footing. An early investment helps make sure we have the funds we need to fight back against the GOP and mobilize if we have to for a redistricting scramble.
