Merrick Garland made one thing clear during his Senate hearings -- white supremacists and domestic terrorists will no longer have a place in this country under his Department of Justice.
It's 2021 -- we all know that white supremacy shouldn't be accepted. But unsurprisingly, Josh Hawley and some of his fellow Republicans took offense when Garland declared that stopping domestic terrorism was his first priority -- and even went so far as to ask Garland if he thought racial justice protests should qualify as domestic terrorism too.
We're ecstatic at the prospect of having an attorney general who will rein in the extremist violence that Trump and his GOP loyalists like Josh Hawley have encouraged and enabled for far too long. That being said, we want to hear from our supporters about their thoughts on Merrick Garland as attorney general. Please, let us know:
