With March on the horizon (and a full plate of new legislative efforts to
come in the next few months), our movement needs to be fully prepared to
take on anything that comes our way. So right now, we're making sure that
Jamaal can continue advocating and fighting for our communities in
Washington in the months to come.

Through Jamaal's leadership — and your sustained support of this movement
— we've already accomplished so much, including:

* Establishing a COVID-19 vaccination site in Yonkers, which will
provide up to 1,000 shots a day to residents in New York's 16th
District
* Calling on the Biden administration to halt standardized testing to
students during the coronavirus pandemic 
* Partnering with local organizations to support folks affected by mass
incarceration, food and rent insecurity, gun violence, and more

These accomplishments — and all our future plans — were only possible
because of the support this movement has shown our campaign thus far. Our
campaign is largely fueled by individual donors like you who chip in what
they can, when they can. Because of this, Jamaal is able to focus 100% of
his time on legislating and fighting for our needs rather than calling
wealthy donors for checks (like many other members of Congress do).
