Jack -- San Diego has become ground zero in the fight to take back California in TWO IMPORTANT WAYS â and I want you to know what weâre doing at the local Republican Party to play our part.

First, we are aggressively supporting the signature drive to qualify the recall against Gavin Newsom. The latest signature report shows San Diego County can make up the shortfall in signatures needed, so weâre ALL IN to get the job done!

Second, San Diego County has the very first California Special Election this cycle â and Republicans have a real chance to win this one!

On April 6, we will have the election to fill the open seat Assembly District 79 (La Mesa, City of San Diego, Lemon Grove, Chula Vista, Bonita, National City, and more). Our endorsed Republican candidate is Marco Contreras and we are ALL IN to get him elected.

Make no mistake about it: winning this seat would send a clear message statewide that Californians are angry and opposed to the extreme socialist agenda of Newsom and the Democrat super-majority in Sacramento.

The problem we face: there are only 41 days until the AD79 special election and we need funding NOW to start our voter contact programs.
