This is serious business, team. Just this week, Wisconsin Republicans introduced half a dozen bills to suppress and restrict voting rights in this state.
The good news is that we’re running a year-round Voter Protection Program here at the WisDems to safeguard the sacred American right to vote.
The bad news? Wisconsin Republicans aren’t deterred that easily -- and, since all eyes continue to remain on Wisconsin, we know that Republican state governments around the country will be taking notes.
We can’t let Wisconsin be the first domino to fall in this renewed, nationwide voter suppression effort, which is why it’s so critically important that we take every one of these threats to our democracy seriously -- and we need your help.
The right to vote is one that we’ll never take for granted -- which is why we’re taking every voter suppression threat seriously. If we want to protect our democracy, then we need to be prepared to jump into action at the drop of a hat.
