** Biden-Harris Appointments, Policies Boost Abortion

While public opinion in the United States – especially among Millennials and Generation Z ([link removed]) – is turning against abortion, President Joe Biden’s policies and appointments promote, facilitate, and encourage abortion.

Along with public statements declaring his support for codifying Roe v. Wade ([link removed]) , the president nominated Xavier Becerra to be Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services. As California attorney general, Becerra was an aggressive proponent of abortion rights and openly hostile to pro-life pregnancy centers.

Meanwhile, Planned Parenthood, the nation’s largest abortion business, recently reported a 15-year high in the number of abortions performed. With these developments, the Biden-Harris Administration is shaping up to be the most pro-abortion in history.


** Becerra’s Attacks on Pro-Life Advocates
------------------------------------------------------------

During his time as California’s top law official, Becerra maintained the strategies of his predecessor, current Vice President Kamala Harris. Thomas Glessner, president of the National Institute of Family and Life Advocates, recently sounded the alarm about Becerra ([link removed]) :

In 2015, California passed its so-called “Reproductive FACT Act” mandating that pro-life centers promote abortion by posting a sign with large fonts in their waiting areas. The sign required centers to advise patients that: 1) they have a right to a state-funded abortion, and 2) the existence of an 800 number to call to get the abortion process started. [emphasis added]

This law was co-sponsored by California’s then-attorney general, Kamala Harris, and supported by her successor, Becerra. Becerra vowed to aggressively enforce the law and make sure that pro-life centers use the walls of their waiting areas to promote abortion. This mandate destroys the pro-life mission of these centers to promote life. [emphasis added]

Glessner’s group ([link removed]) sued Becerra on behalf of a group of pregnancy enters and had their case heard before the U.S. Supreme Court in 2018. The Court ruled that ([link removed]) the law was unconstitutional.

More than 60 pro-life groups ([link removed]) have called on the Senate committee to reject Becerra’s nomination.


** Planned Parenthood on the Offensive
------------------------------------------------------------

With key support from the Biden White House, Planned Parenthood is positioning itself to be more powerful than ever.

Among his many executive orders, Biden revoked the Mexico City Policy ([link removed]) which prohibited U.S. taxpayer money from being used for abortions in foreign countries. He also lifted President Trump’s ban on federal Title X funds going to abortion providers (of whom Planned Parenthood was the most notable).

“Planned Parenthood’s business is abortion, not health care,” says Marjorie Dannenfelser, Susan B. Anthony List president ([link removed]) . “At a time when U.S. abortions overall have long been on the decline, Planned Parenthood is ending the lives of more than 354,000 unborn children a year.”

From these and other recent developments, it looks like the Biden-Harris Administration has fully adopted a radical leftist agenda that gives no protection for the lives of unborn children and continues to reject biblical values.
