** New poll shows massive public concern over DIY abortions
------------------------------------------------------------

Dear
SPUC supporter,
As you know, we have all been extremely worried about the DIY abortion regime and, in particular, that this might become a permanent policy.

Some good news! We are not the only ones to be deeply concerned about DIY abortions. The public in England is also concerned.

You can see the results of an opinion poll commissioned by SPUC and conducted by the professional company SavantaComRes here ([link removed]) .

We must use these poll results to raise more awareness of the concerns around DIY abortions.

Two actions which will really help are:
1. Please write to your MP to let him/her know that the public in England shares your concerns about DIY abortion. Ask your MP to call for DIY abortion to end immediately.
2. Please write to your local newspaper(s). Local newspapers are still widely read and are a useful way of reaching people with the pro-life message. A sample letter to email to your local paper(s) can be found here ([link removed]) .

Thank you for all you do to protect unborn babies and their mothers from abortion.
With every good wish,

Antonia Tully
Director of Campaigns

P.s. There is a Parliamentary briefing on DIY abortion for MPs on Thursday 4 March 2021 5.30-6.30pm. Please ask your MP to attend and send this link: [link removed]
