LEGAL & LEGISLATION Mississippi: Your Action Needed - Preemption Legislation Heads to the House Floor

Today, House Judiciary B Committee passed important preemption legislation, Senate Bill 2107.  The measure now heads to the House Floor for a final vote.

LEGAL & LEGISLATION Georgia: House Passes Concealed Carry Reciprocity Bill

Today, the House passed House Bill 218. The bill expands the ability of law-abiding citizens to defend themselves and their families, both within Georgia and in other states, and also ensures that Second Amendment rights remain protected during emergencies. HB 218 will now go to the Senate for further consideration.

LEGAL & LEGISLATION Kentucky: Committee Advances Bill to Prevent Discrimination Against Firearm Businesses

The House Judiciary Committee issued a favorable report to House Bill 175, to prevent discrimination against firearm businesses. This bill is also considered critical legislation by the National Shooting Sports Foundation, and the Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation. It now awaits a floor vote in the full House.

NEWS  Ninth Circuit to Hear Case Challenging California’s Magazine Ban En Banc

Today the Ninth Circuit granted en banc review of an NRA-ILA backed lawsuit challenging California’s ban on magazines containing more than ten rounds.

LEGAL & LEGISLATION Iowa Permitless Carry Self Defense Package Bill Introduced

Today, House Study Bill 254 was introduced to greatly improve self-defense in Iowa.
