Urge The Preserve to Retire Tai, Kitty, Rosie, and Becky to an Accredited Sanctuary

Dixie the elephant appeared severely emaciated in recent months. Since then, she disappeared from The Preserve’s website and apparently hasn’t been used in public exhibitions. It may be too late for her, but we need your help urging the pseudo-sanctuary to release the remaining elephants—Tai, Kitty, Rosie, and Becky—to an accredited sanctuary where they can roam, forage, socialize, and play on their own terms.

More monkey studies would only delay getting vaccines to people. An article by primatologist Dr. Lisa Jones-Engel explains why we need modern science that uses reliable, animal-free research methods, not monkeys.

Experimenters drowned mice and rats and forced others to run to exhaustion on an electrified treadmill so that companies could market foods and beverages using dubious anti-fatigue health claims. Following years of pressure from PETA, the Taiwan Food and Drug Administration announced a groundbreaking decision to delete all such animal tests from a draft regulation, but it still needs to hear from you before it finalizes its decision.
