But the Supreme Court just weighed in with the last word: No more hiding. Trump's accountants have been ordered to turn over his tax returns to the Manhattan District Attorney, Democrat Cyrus Vance.
The New York Times reports, though, that the scope of Vance's investigation is unclear -- he could decide to pursue anything from Trump's hush-money payments to bigger crimes like tax fraud and insurance fraud. And serious criminal charges could destroy Trump's credibility just as he's trying to make a comeback on the political stage.
