The Bad News: Not only do Democrats need to defend three senators who won their races by margins of 2.2% or less, but Republicans are outraising Democrats significantly. The Senate GOP campaign arm is raising on average $100,000 per day and Donald Trump is working behind the scenes to raise as much as $1.7 million per day. Not only did Republican incitement of the Capitol Insurrection, acquitting Donald Trump, and embrace of Marjorie Taylor Greene not dampen their fundraising, it actually accelerated it. Our country needs a Senate majority that listens to science to guide us out of this pandemic and address the climate crisis, not a majority dictated by Mitch McConnell and Donald Trump.
