“Attention shifts to Loeffler and Collins after Perdue opts out of another run in Georgia”

We have good news and bad news, John. The good news, as you may have already heard, is that David Perdue has decided not to challenge Senator Rev. Raphael Warnock in 2022.

The bad news is that right-wing extremists are already swarming the stage for a run in Georgia. Former Georgia Rep. Doug Collins, a strong Trump ally, is already seriously considering a run against Warnock. And our old nemesis, Kelly Loeffler recently said another Senate run was “certainly on the table.”

These bad actors have railed against everything from immigration reform to reproductive justice. Collins still claims there was election fraud in 2020. They both have long histories of supporting the Georgia GOP, and they both seem to think they can flip Georgia back into a red state.

We beg to differ. Voto Latino registered over 35,000 voters in Georgia in the 2020 election cycle, helping President Biden flip the state and sending Jon Ossoff and Warnock into runoff elections.

Then, we targeted young people of color with voter registration ads before the runoff election deadline, helping power a surge of more than 75,000 new voter registrations (young voters, people of color, and Democratic voters were overrepresented in this group)! Now, we have a blue U.S. Senate.

We wouldn’t have been able to do this work without your support. And we're not done yet -- we will be in Georgia again in 2022. Count on it.

So, John, can you pitch in today to help us get a head start on defending Georgia a second time?
