Not only was Yvette designated as Chair of the Cybersecurity, Infrastructure Protection, and Innovation Subcommittee, but she introduced legislation that would reform our immigration system.

February has always been a special month for Yvette, as it’s a month specifically set aside to celebrate Black history and accomplishments. And while we have celebrated every day this month, it’s important to celebrate Black history and Black accomplishment all year round.

We’ve worked to celebrate people like Scientific Lead, Dr. Kizzmekia Corbett, one of the key scientists behind developing the Moderna COVID-19 Vaccines. People like Rep. Joe Neguse and Rep. Stacey Plaskett, who helped lead the prosecution in the second impeachment trial, and so many others who we’ve celebrated on our twitter.
