Money Matters: Tax Prep for Creative Professionals

 

Thursday, March 4, 3 pm ET / 2 pm CT / 12 pm PT

Tackle tax time with confidence! Join us for this practical, informative workshop on tax strategies geared toward creative professionals that covers tax forms, deductions, exemptions, audits, tax-related scams and more. You’ll also learn simple strategies for record-keeping so you can navigate tax season with (relative) ease.

 


The Career Center
The Career Center offers a comprehensive suite of online programs and services that help entertainment industry and performing arts professionals to identify and find sideline work and discover new careers outside the industry.
 
Get started by attending The Career Center Orientation (Monday* or Thursday) to enroll in the career services offered. Once you've done that, you can attend workshops including Resume Writing Workshop*, LinkedIn Suite for Entertainment: Part 1, Profile Development Basics* and more.

Additional online events include Digital Media & Intellectual Property* and Conversations with Comedians*.

Financial Wellness online workshops and seminars increase your financial knowledge and help you learn the tools and skills to support lifelong financial health and stability.

The Actors Fund operates several affordable housing residences across the country, including The Palm View in West Hollywood, and also offers online resources to help you learn more about affordable housing opportunities and other housing-related issues you may encounter.
