Not our words, don't worry.

John,

The (not surprising) bad news: Marjorie Taylor Greene didn't vote for the Equality Act, which she called "THE DISGUSTING, IMMORAL, AND EVIL EQUALITY ACT!!!" (that's a direct quote from her Twitter), and gave transphobic speeches on the House floor.

The good news: Together, we let her know she is powerless to stop equality – and we ensured she’s written into the history books as a bigot and opponent of justice. The House just passed the Equality Act.

The LGBTQ members we helped elect gave powerful speeches and guided the Act to passage, including U.S. Representative David Cicilline, who introduced it. We saw undeniable proof today that we must continue fighting to elect out voices in Congress to drown out the bigots - and ensure bills defending our lives and rights pass.

This is a big moment but we have to keep fighting to add pro-equality voices at all levels of government. Will you donate TODAY to help us drown out bigots like Taylor Greene and celebrate the passage of The Equality Act?

Thanks so much for standing against hatred,
