Hi there,
Our economy is facing a massive competition problem that is harming consumers. Anticompetitive practices mean industries are consolidating -- and that makes it harder for small businesses to compete.
As the Chair of the Judiciary Subcommittee on Antitrust, Competition Policy and Consumer Rights, Amy is in a unique position to understand the danger of these practices -- and what we can do about it. Many industries are consolidating, leading to fewer choices for consumers. U.S. laws have not kept up with these recent trends.
That's why Amy introduced the Competition and Antitrust Law Enforcement Reform Act, which would increase resources for enforcement of antitrust laws and strengthen prohibitions against anticompetitive mergers. It's the bill we need to protect workers and consumers, encourage innovation and promote economic equity.
Our next step is to urge Congress to pass this bill as soon as possible. If you agree that we need better tools to effectively take on anticompetitive practices will you sign our petition?
Thanks,
Team Amy
