Dear John,

Emgage Action welcomes the reintroduction of the NO BAN Act by Representative Judy Chu (D-CA-27) and led in the Senate by Senator Chris Coons (D-DE). For four years, our organization has been dedicated to opposing the discriminatory Muslim Ban which separated families and loved ones simply because of their faith. This Trump-era policy ran contrary to our principles as a pluralistic democracy and is a stain on our national conscience.

Last year, during our 'Million Muslim Votes Summit', then presidential candidate Joe Biden announced his commitment to repeal Trump's Muslim Ban "on day one in office." President Biden fulfilled his promise by signing an executive order rescinding the Ban.

The Muslim Ban has come to an end through executive order, but our work is not done. We need to ensure that no such discriminatory ban is ever implemented again with the passage of this legislation. Click the link below to take action and urge your officials to support and pass the NO BAN Act.

In solidarity,

Wa'el Alzayat, CEO, Emgage Action
