Our beloved pig got a scary and costly diagnosis.

Dear friend,

I hope you’re sitting down as you read this because I have some alarming news to share about our beloved Brando the pig.

His cancer is back. It’s skin cancer on his ears again. He needs emergency treatment immediately. Maybe as soon as TODAY!

We’ve known our brave Brando since we rescued him as a little piglet. Remember when baby Brando fell from a truck, en route to a slaughterhouse?

We’re doing everything we can to save his life, but this procedure will cost over $6,000! And that’s just the start.

So, please give any gift you can to help pay for Brando’s emergency treatment and other critical care for animals!

But last month one of our care staff noticed a scary-looking mass under his left eye and at the base of his ears. We rushed him to the hospital, and now after a biopsy we know for sure. His cancer is back.

Pigs are prone to skin cancer because of their fair skin. We apply sunscreen to their ears to protect them. But Brando has developed cancer anyway—and this is the worst case we’ve seen.

The best hope is giving him 2-4 treatments of advanced electrochemotherapy. It’s a tried-and-true treatment for horses, but it’s rarely done on pigs. We’re hoping it will get rid of the cancer once and for all. But it’s expensive!

In the midst of this alarming news, I do want you to know one thing. Brando’s spirits have remained high.

Some people say pigs smell like maple syrup when they’re happy. Well, Brando has been smelling great and showing his spirit through it all.

I know it’s an expensive procedure.

But failure to treat this cancer could lead to Brando suffering even more and dying unnecessarily. We can’t let that happen.

I need your help to save Brando. Please make your gift now.

Thank you for helping save Brando’s life, and for all the help you give to the animals at Full Circle Farm Sanctuary. You’re our friend and partner, and we’re truly grateful that you care so much.

Make a gift today, and I’ll make sure you’re one of the first to know how Brando is doing after treatment!

Sincerely,

Courtney Perez

Interim Executive Director

Full Circle Farm Sanctuary

P.S. Do you know why this treatment is rarely performed on pigs? It’s because pigs rarely live as long as Brando. Most people don’t value pigs and care for them the way we do… with your help. Your support makes their long and happy lives possible. And now we need your donation urgently to help pay for Brando’s cancer treatment. THANK YOU!
